The Infrastructure
Economic Infrastucture
We designed and built an economic infrastructure for refugee women to sew, sell, and use WISSP to boost the number of teenage girl school hours and, in the process, help them attain business skills. Currently, we have 3,000 products being used by 600 teen girls and 18 women trained to sew and sell the WISSP pads.
Sewing & Business Training
We partner with a tailoring school in the Dzaleka refugee camp where women and girls can learn the necessary skills needed to produce and sell the WISSP pad. This allows WISSP to be a self-sustainable program at the Dzaleka refugee camp.
